SUREPASTOR Presented at the FAO-CIHEAM Joint Seminar in Kuşadası, Turkey

We are pleased to announce that Camilla Dibari from DAGRI – University of Florence (UNIFI) presented the SUREPASTOR project during Session 4 – Data and Technologies to Implement and Monitor Sustainable Agrosilvopastoral Systems at the Joint Seminar of the FAO-CIHEAM sub-networks on “Mediterranean Pastures and Forage Crops” and “Mountain Pastures”, held in Kuşadası, Turkey, from 9 to 11 April 2025.

The seminar was organized around the theme “Integrating traditional knowledge and technological innovations for resilient management of agrosilvopastoral systems”, and brought together researchers, experts, and stakeholders to explore innovative approaches to sustainable land use.

SUREPASTOR’s contribution to this session highlighted the importance of combining traditional ecological knowledge with modern technologies to support resilient and multifunctional agrosilvopastoral landscapes in Mediterranean and mountainous regions.

This event provided an excellent platform to share insights from the project and engage with a broader community working toward sustainable agricultural and pastoral practices.
