The SUREPASTOR consortium will convene in Rabat for a four-day immersion into Morocco’s pastoral systems, livestock management practices, and sustainability initiatives. The field visit will bring together project partners, national authorities, and local stakeholders to exchange knowledge, explore pilot opportunities, and strengthen cooperation.
Event Highlights
Immersive Field Programme (16–20 December)
Participants will take part in a comprehensive programme exploring traditional and modern approaches to livestock management and sustainable pastoralism across Morocco.
Presentation to National Authorities (18 December)
SUREPASTOR will present the project’s goals and activities to the Ministry of Agriculture and other national stakeholders, fostering dialogue and alignment on future collaboration.
Pilot Farm Visits (17 or 19 December)
Optional visits to candidate pilot farms will provide first-hand insights into local challenges, innovative practices, and potential areas of engagement for the project.
Consortium Meeting (19 December)
The official consortium meeting will bring all partners together to assess progress, plan upcoming work, and coordinate project actions for 2026.
