Taieb Medeb farm is located in Zriba, in the Governorate of Zaghouan, covers a useful agricultural area of 300 hectares.
The farm’s crop allocation includes 16 hectares of green barley, 80 hectares of grain barley, 60 hectares of durum wheat, 15 hectares of soft wheat, and 20 hectares of hay.
Operating under a rainfed production system, the farm is managed by Taieb Medeb, an experienced farmer, with the support of one permanent worker.

Daily life in Taieb Medeb Farm
On Taieb Medeb’s 300-hectare Zaghouan farm, daily life is balanced between large-scale grain cultivation and sheep rearing. With one permanent worker, Taieb manages 328 Barbarine sheep through a semi-intensive routine of grazing and supplemental feeding. Mornings are spent maintaining expansive fields of wheat and barley using his two tractors, while the 900m² shelter serves as the hub for livestock care. It is a highly efficient, rainfed operation built on decades of experience.
