This site, still under development, will house 50 Barki ewes, 2 rams, and 24 young Maghrebi camels. The 20-feddan irrigated area will support similar forage crops, combining Atriplex and Acacia with barley and cowpeas. Water salinity is around 6,500 ppm. Products will include meat, fodder, and samples for analysis. Desalinated water will supplement the underground source.
