SUREPASTOR at the 26th ASPA Congress: Exploring Sustainable Innovations in Livestock and Pasture Management

From June 17–20, 2025, the SUREPASTOR project takes part in the 26th ASPA Congress held in Grugliasco, Italy. This year’s congress is centered on innovations in animal science for a sustainable future, bringing together researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders from across the sector.
SUREPASTOR contributes to the discussion with a poster presentation highlighting stakeholder perspectives on innovative practices in livestock and pasture management. Drawing on focus groups and a SWOT analysis, the findings reveal a generally positive outlook: stakeholders identified more strengths and opportunities than weaknesses and threats in the proposed approaches.
The congress provides a valuable platform to engage with the broader scientific community and gather feedback, helping to shape future directions for sustainable pasture and livestock systems.
